The excellent program for the technical analysis of the financial markets. Despite of the small size, possesses all opportunities of Metastock and Omega Tradestation, taken together and even more. In particular, unlike Omega Tradestation allows to perfome testing of systems for a portfolio of plenty of tools simultaneously, that is especially important for trading actions and future contracts. Programming language Amibroker Formula Language in a basis is identical to language of the Metastock, but includes all functions Omega Tradestation, and also set of others that practically allows to program algorithm of any complexity. The program reads quotations as from text files, and direct from files of format of Metastock. Since version 4.60.0 the module for three-dimensional visualization of results of testing of systems is added.
Since versions 5.01.0, beta versions of program are spesially optimised for increasing speed of trade system testing (in comparison with version 5.00.1 it rised nearly in two times).
The main novelty Amibroker, since version 5.10 - implementing of method Walk-forward of optimisation of trading systems when the system at first is optimised on any timeperiod in the past, and then is checked and optimised on next timeperiod, which in comparison with an initial timeperiod of optimisation is "future" that allows to avoid "adjustment according past prices" (excessive reoptimization of results) by optimisation of systems. Since version 5.20 possibility of a choice from three various ways of optimisation of systems is added.
